Arizona's course is the most expensive in this series, and it's also the only one where the price doesn't really matter, because of what's on the other side of the trade.
Start with the structure, because Arizona bills differently from every other state we cover. What you pay has three layers: the school's tuition, a state fee, and a diversion fee set by the court that issued your ticket. Tuition alone runs roughly $38.95 to $150 depending on the school, Improv listed at $38.95 in our August 2026 pull, but the checkout total will be meaningfully higher once the court and state charges attach, and that total varies by jurisdiction because each court sets its own diversion fee. That's why Arizona schools can't advertise one clean price and why you should compare schools on tuition, the only layer they control, then expect the same government fees regardless of which school you pick.
Now the other side of the trade. Completing the course means the citation is dismissed. Not points reduced, dismissed: no fine, no points assessed, no conviction, nothing for your insurer to ever see. Our Arizona data puts a typical 10-over ticket at a $231 fine plus roughly $3,039 in three-year insurance exposure as a ceiling estimate, and the diversion deletes the entire column. Even at the top of the market, a $150 course plus court fees returning three thousand dollars of avoided cost is the best-value purchase on this entire site. Arizona drivers who are eligible and skip it because the checkout total looked high compared to other states are making a $3,000 mistake to save $100.
Two cost-adjacent rules to respect: the program is available once every 12 months, measured violation date to violation date, so its value is rationed, and your course must be complete at least 7 days before your court date, so its value expires. The most expensive version of this course is the one you start too late.
Every Arizona Supreme Court-certified online school we track is compared on the Arizona page, and the full diversion mechanics are on our points page.
