Six hours at any DDS-certified school, because Georgia's Department of Driver Services certifies courses to a standard length along with a standard curriculum. The school choice changes the price, roughly $20 to $95 across the market, and the experience; it can't change the clock.
Six hours is a meaningful sit, and Georgia attaches it to the country's biggest single prize, the reduction of up to 7 points, available once every five years, which is a fair trade and then some. Online delivery makes the hours schedulable: progress saves, and the realistic pattern is a couple of evenings.
The step people skip after hour six is the one that makes the hours count: the reduction isn't automatic on completion. You apply to DDS with your certificate, and until you do, your record sits exactly where it was. If a court sent you instead, the court's paperwork requirements control, and its deadline is the one to respect.
Every DDS-certified online course we track is compared on the Georgia page, the five-year clock is on our frequency page, and the pricing spread is on our cost page.
